not another ai event

Govern AI without losing human accountability.

This is not a conference, an AI hype event or two days of slides about how artificial intelligence will change the world. CAIGO Europe is an official professional certification course built around one of the most difficult questions organisations now face.

When AI starts making, influencing or executing decisions, where does human responsibility remain — and how do we make sure it remains identifiable?

Moral agency

Sophisticated behaviour is not the same as moral agency. CAIGO examines the role humans have allowed AI to occupy and where responsibility truly sits.

Authority & accountability

Who authorises AI deployment, who controls its boundaries and what governance mechanisms keep accountability explicit?

Value distribution

If AI creates efficiency, productivity or new capability, who benefits — and who bears the cost?

Meet the instructors

Professional expertise. An unusual classroom.

Every CAIGO principle will be explained. The crucial ones will first be experienced — magically or otherwise.

Certification & governance

Johan West

IAITAM Trainer · Founder of The ITAM-Unit BV

Johan has spent more than a decade teaching IAITAM certification programmes across Europe. He leads the CAIGO curriculum and translates the framework into organisational reality: governance, risk, accountability, IT management, decision-making and value distribution.

Experience & illusion

Brandon Smeets

Professional Magician & Illusionist · Former Team Lead User Services & IT Asset Management at Canon

Brandon’s work revolves around the difference between what appears to be happening and what is actually happening. During CAIGO Europe, illusion is part of the educational architecture — not entertainment between modules.

Travel to and from Munich or Amsterdam, hotel accommodation, local transportation outside the official programme and personal expenses. Participants arrange their own travel and accommodation.

Storytelling and live illusion support the curriculum — they do not replace it.

CAIGO Europe is first and foremost an official professional certification programme. Experiential elements are used selectively where they can make an important governance principle more tangible, memorable or difficult to ignore.
